Learning Support
Helping students access learning, build confidence and make meaningful progress.
Students learn differently and at different paces. At St. Peter's, learning support is collaborative — involving teachers, residential staff, specialists and families to identify needs and provide appropriate help.
Diagnostic Assessment & Foundational Labs: Student levels are assessed through diagnostic tests at the start of each academic year, with Maths Lab support available to all classes.

Our Approach
Support begins in the classroom through clear teaching, structured tasks and timely feedback. When difficulty persists, the school gathers evidence, consults the student and family, and agrees on the next steps.
Classroom First
Proactive classroom adjustments, scaffolded tasks, clear instructions and immediate guidance during lessons.
Evidence Gathering
Systematic compilation of observations, diagnostic data, assessment patterns and teacher insights.
Family Consultation
Transparent dialogues involving the student, parents, house staff and leadership to agree on shared goals.
A Possible Support Pathway
